Bigger than you think

First pro tip, buy a balloon pump, manual or electric because there is a lot of balloon pumping needed. Second pro tip, watch some videos on youtube as this is more difficult than it looks and requires some trial and error. Besides that, we had a giant balloon mermaid-tail for my daughters party and she was happy.
